That is a beautiful photo of your niece, especially having it printed on canvas.  The hallway is certainly one

of the best places for it to be seen, as were some of our items in Clayton.

Yesterday was a day of removing the last of half dead flowers from the balcony and taking them out of the pots,
then taking the soil outside to cover the roots of "OUR" rosebush then covering it with 2 layers of winter protection
special covers, minus the usual dried leaves, the wet snow ruined piles of leaves ! Fingers crossed it survives Winter !
Today I will wash all the containers from outside and take them downstairs to the underground storage unit.

Saturday I shall go to Clayton for the Remembrance Service @ 11 am overlooking the lake, close to the General
Store,  put on by the Almonte Legion with the Marching Band of Canadian Artillery from Petawawa.

Sunday I shall ask David Moat if I can hitch a ride with him for St.G's special Remem: Service, the weather forecast
is not good, heavy snow.  I think I will read  Tony's special poem "Cherish the Brave" that he wrote and was first read
@ the dedication of the Korean War Memorial at Confederation Square, Ottawa without his Knowledge. (That's another
sad frustrating story).

Low battery, so time to start working !
