My Father owned one of those 1920's car; when he came to Ottawa for his 90th
birthday we took him to the Science museum , with Ian aged 4, he was running
beside "Grandpa" when my Father suddenly called to us all "Look at this old car"
That was mine, right down to the exact colour "Navy Blue". He drove it when in
India, especially during their hot humid weather when most Europeans retired to
the cooler mountains. Once Ian was in bed that night, he told us about "The
Mockbeggar Rebellion", for which he has a special Medal, as he was the first
British Officer to arrest "Mahatmas Gandhi", he only managed that by Saying to
him, 'Mr'Gandhi, it is only for your own safety". The crowds of people were increasing
like water running down a hill !
