It is a totally new world nowadays and to a younger man such as you, extremely interesting.
However, in my declining years I shall continue to do what I know and enjoy; while I realise
it takes me a longer time to perform many usual and useful things. The only exception is....
driving my very modern car, which at certain speeds will carefully "drive itself". plus a few
more safety items when it tells me what not to do !
This afternoon I re-potted all my plants on the balcony and brought them into the S.W. window
in the drawing room. I still had six branches of "extra sweet Tiny Tomatoes" not quite ripe. so
I cut these branches, pushed them into the wet soil and completely covered the enormous pot
with an old blanket.Then I cut down the whole 8ft tall plant. During the night the temperature
is forecast to drop to 0.
Tomorrow I have to tackle the Rosebush for one more COLD night.
